Star Light Rabbitry's Answers

1. Our long term goal is a well balanced rabbit. We strive for Holland Lops with great type, big heads, good crown, great bone.

2. Our great type, big heads, short bodies, and great bone with wonderful personalities are some of our good qualities. Some of our bad qualitites are a lack in color variety, little bit narrow in the shoulders and a bit slipped of the crown.

3. Yes, our rabbits drink plenty of rabbit and dont loose any condition when traveling for a show.

4. I have been raising rabbits for 10 years. I have been breeding and showing rabbits for 7 years now.

5. We run a VERY small rabbitry. Consistining of usually 8-10 show and brood rabbits. occasionally more.

6. I would say our prices are fair. Our show rabbits cost anywhere from $50-$175 sometimes lower. Pet rabbits are $15 (we only charge so that people wont take a free rabbit because it is free and end up not wanting it.) Yes we give discounts for buying more than one rabbit. Sometimes I give discounts for picking up a rabbit at my home before a certain date.

7. Yes, we have a gaurantee. We will not knowingly sell an ill or ill-tempered rabbit. Our guarantee is good for 14 days past the date of sale.

8. We feed once a day. We feed Purina Rabbit chow and our home made conditioning mix at all times. They are feed in the evening.

9. All our rabbits live in 2.5' by 2.3' cages with wire bottoms and plastic trays. They all have j-feeders but we feed in ceramic bowls because the misters during summer tend to spray a bit into the j-feeders and make the food soggy. All our rabbits have water bottles. We use the 24oz ones so that they have enough for a little more then a day but we change them everyday.

10. We clean all our cages everyother day. Once a month all bowls, water bottles and carriers are thoroughly cleaned with water. We scrub our trays once a week.
